Remapping, Diagnostics
& Coding
Performance and economy tuning, ECU solutions, professional diagnostics and vehicle coding — carried out with proper equipment and your original file always kept on record.
Everything, explained properly
No unexplained jargon. Here's what each service actually means for your vehicle.
Performance Remapping
Tuning your engine or gearbox software for more performance or better economy.
- Stage 1 Remap
- More power and torque using your vehicle's standard parts. A smoother, stronger drive with no hardware changes needed.
- Stage 2 Remap
- A bigger performance step for vehicles that already have supporting upgrades such as an upgraded exhaust or air intake.
- Economy Remap
- Tuning focused on improving fuel efficiency and lowering running costs, while keeping your vehicle smooth to drive.
- TCU / Gearbox Remap
- Tuning for automatic gearboxes to improve shift speed and response, often paired with an engine remap.
ECU Solutions
ECU, emissions and configuration work, including fault code solutions.
- DPF Solution
- Work relating to the diesel particulate filter, which traps soot from the exhaust and can cause warning lights when blocked.
- EGR Solution
- Work relating to the EGR valve, which recirculates exhaust gas and can cause running problems when it sticks or clogs.
- AdBlue / SCR Solution
- Work relating to the AdBlue and SCR system, which reduces exhaust emissions and can trigger warnings or no-start countdowns.
- Intake / Swirl Flap Solution
- Work relating to the intake flaps that control airflow into the engine, which can seize or fail over time.
- OPF / GPF Solution
- Work relating to the petrol particulate filter, the petrol equivalent of a DPF, which can restrict flow when blocked.
- Lambda / O2 Solution
- Work relating to the oxygen sensors that measure exhaust gases and can cause fault codes when faulty.
- EVAP Solution
- Work relating to the fuel vapour system, which controls fuel fumes and can trigger emissions-related fault codes.
- DTC / Fault Code Solution
- Addressing stored fault codes in the ECU so we can explain what's causing them and what needs doing.
- Start/Stop Configuration
- Changing how the automatic engine stop/start system behaves when you come to a standstill.
- Speed Limiter Configuration
- Adjusting the vehicle's built-in speed limiter settings. Availability depends on the vehicle and intended use.
- Exhaust Flap Configuration
- Changing how the exhaust valve/flap operates, which affects exhaust flow and sound on vehicles that have one.
Advanced Tuning
Additional tuning features for enthusiast and track-focused vehicles.
- Launch Control
- A feature that helps deliver a consistent, controlled standing start. Intended for off-road and track use.
- Hardcut Limiter
- A sharper rev limiter that gives a more defined cut-off at maximum revs. Intended for off-road and track use.
- Pop & Bang / Overrun
- Adds crackle and pop sounds on the overrun. Intended for off-road and track use, and not suitable for every vehicle.
- Cold Start
- Changes how your vehicle behaves and sounds during the first moments after starting.
- Custom ECU Request
- Something specific in mind? Tell us what you'd like and we'll let you know whether it's possible on your vehicle.
Diagnostics
Finding out exactly what's wrong using professional diagnostic equipment.
- Advanced Diagnostics
- A full diagnostic session using professional equipment to identify faults across your vehicle's systems.
- Fault Finding
- Investigating a specific problem — a warning light, a noise or a fault — to establish the underlying cause.
- ECU Diagnostics
- Focused checks on the engine control unit to confirm whether it's working as it should.
- Module Diagnostics
- Testing individual control modules, such as gearbox, ABS or body modules, to find the faulty one.
Coding & Programming
Enabling features, activating added hardware and programming vehicle modules.
- Vehicle Coding
- Changing your vehicle's built-in settings to adjust how certain factory features behave.
- Feature Activation
- Turning on hidden manufacturer features your vehicle already supports, such as certain lighting or display options.
- Retrofit Coding
- Activating and configuring new hardware you've had fitted, such as upgraded modules or accessories, so it works correctly.
- Module Programming
- Programming or updating vehicle control modules, often needed after repairs or replacement parts.
- ECU Programming
- Writing updated software to the engine control unit, including replacement or repaired units.
Emissions-related work is assessed individually. What can be offered depends on the vehicle, its ECU, the intended use and the regulations that apply. We'll confirm your options before any work is agreed.
